Why the 4th of JULY?

Today we had a chance to protest, but the organizers of the Danville,CA Parade would brook no protest for TEA. I guess they missed the fact that there was a big protest in Washington DC on the Capitol Mall. DUH! The media covered that, but in the Liberal Loony East Bay of San Francisco, we are afraid to 'take off the gloves". No wonder we lost the election. Conservatives have got to get some backbone or the nation is doomed.
To the sponsors of the parade, Heller Jewelers, I say, I am boycotting you and I will not refer any more customers to your business.

I amazed that today of all days The United States has lost its way and forgotten why we fought a Revolution in 1776.

Let me remind you of the conditions that existed that drove us to an armed revolt against England.

  1. Outrageous confiscatory TAXES of about 2%.
  2. NO REPRESENTATION in the British Parliament.
  3. Quartering of Soldiers in private homes with no 'by your leave?'
  4. Stamp Act.
  5. Unreasonable SEARCHES and SEIZURES!
These were some of the items that moved us to an armed revolt against England.

Today, we work well into April of 2009 just to pay all the taxes that are levied on you. For a state by state breakdown with dates go to: http://www.taxfoundation.org/publications/show/387.html .

You pay taxes on income, food, gas, phone, tires, electricity, transfer taxes when you sell your home, state taxes, social security taxes, prescription drugs, clothes, household goods, nails and every other thing that you buy or use. If you add up all these things they amount to between 30 - 80% of your hard earned money. I don't know about you, but did you agree and sign up to be an indentured servant to the government federal, state or local? I DID NOT!

Just think about what you could do if you got to keep 95% of your money? What could you do for your family, your community, your health, your education etc. Wouldn't you like to have that control over your own life and personal affairs back?

If we fought a Revolution for a tax of less that 2%, why are we getting robbed by our governments to the tune of over 50%. Don't you get upset when your bank or credit card company charges you outrageous interest of more than 4 or 5 %? Why is it then that you shrug your shoulders and cower to the government confiscating most of your money for stupid things like the United Nations?

Time to wake up and smell the coffee! Time to start THINKING not feeling! COMMON SENSE is what we need here not more new programs.

We must retake our country and stop the insanity. The governments federal, state and local should be able to provide basic services that are constitutionally mandated with 5% of the GDP each year. We must repeal any other laws that spend more than this.

5% of GDP = $700,000,000,000

That would be:

2% GDP to Federal = $280,000,000,000 ( $280 Billion)
2% GDP to States = $280,000,000,000 ($280 Billion)
1% GDP to Local = $14,000, 000, 000 ($14 Billion)

The current projected GDP for 2009 is 14+ Trillion. However, if the economy booms due to lower taxes this amount would increase each year.

Don't you think, not feel, that $700 Billion is enough to pay for the government?! We would also be able to pay down the national debt that is now
– $ 11,438,974,921,823*

If you could keep 95% of your money, couldn't you as an individual take care of your healthcare, retirement, food, clothing, investments, maybe build a business, educate your children at the school of your choice?

Don't you think that the governments could have a strong military, enforce our immigration laws, fund and run the necessary government functions on $700 Billion dollars. All of this could be done without borrowing money from our enemies: China and others who want to see our demise.

Every household in this country has to live on a budget. The government must be required to do the same. The national debt is – $ 11,438,884,669,635* as of 10 seconds ago. on 4 July 09

To see the ticker go to: http://zfacts.com/p/461.html

Each person in this country has a portion of this debt which is:
The estimated population of the United States is 306,487,640
so each citizen's share of this debt is $37,511.49.

I don't know about you, but my personal debt is bout $75K, plus another $38K and rising. Is more than I can pay on an income of less than $80K, between my husband and me. What about you?

This personal portion will increase exponentially if CAP and TRADE passes the SENATE. It will mean equal poverty for all middle income Americans. The super wealthy will not be bothered as they can afford to pay. But the rest of us are SCREWED!!!!!!

We CANNOT let the Energy bill:also know as CAP and TRADE become law nor can we let OBAMACARE ruin the best health care in the world.

On this Independence Day, resolve to Stand up and DO something to stop the POWER GRAB that is ruining our FREEDOM. CALL your SENATORS and demand to vote down these bills. They are our RUIN!

Excerpt from "None Dare Call it Marxism"

Quote: by David Limbaugh

Both his father, Barack Obama Sr., and his mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, were communists. His church of choice was one of black liberation theology, whose Marxist roots are inarguable. He associated with far leftists on the "organizing" streets of Chicago, including Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn.

Mentorship and associations are one thing, but what have Obama's words and actions revealed about his attitudes toward labor, capital, profits and government control of business and industry?

Well, he said that he would raise capital gains tax rates, even if it reduced revenues, as a matter of fairness. It's only fair to make everyone poorer if you believe profits are inherently evil.

He told Joe the Plumber he wants to spread the wealth around. He talked about confiscating Exxon Mobil's profits and giving them to consumers, saying "they are not going to give up those profits easily." He called Chrysler creditors "speculators" and castigated them for refusing to accept his extortionist reorganization plan. He berated Wall Street for making profits, saying "now is not (the) time" for them to "rake in profits." He and his wife even railed against the pursuit of profit in their respective commencement addresses.
